I am considering putting interior LED lights into my 05 Sunfire, and was wondering if there is any way that I can go through the fuse box and find a "hook" so that the Led lights dim out, just like the Dome light ? And if it is not in the fusebox, where would I find a place to hook that up ? I try to avoid hooking them up at the domelight itself (like I have seen it done, and it looked horrible). Surely there is a better way.
I am sorry when it sounds a bit lame, but I am not sure about the correct terminolgy. Hopefully my question made some sense.

The dome light dimming is controlled by the BCM, body control module. The only fuse marked in the owners manual that may control the dome lamp is marked RDO/INTLP, radio/interior lamps.

Thank you melsg5, I will give it a try. After some thinking I am not even sure if I want to hook up to the dome light. I would love to have the same functionality though. Have the lights come on, when I open the door, and then dim / go out like all the other interior lights. But would also have the option of a "manual override", like the dome light itself has. That I can turn it on, when needed.
If anyone has done such a thing, or knows how to, it would be greatly appreciated.
