interior lights

hey, my car is going haywire, my interior lights (dome) turns on when i stop at a stop sign or at the lights but the thing is, is that it has to stop fully and once you let go of the brake peddle it turns on but when you drive it turns off, this never happen to me before just today. what is wrong and how do i fix it. could it be the dimmer module and if it is do you know were its located?
