I have a 2001 Pontiac Aztek (approx 160,000 miles), and have been experiencing intermittent start issues. my Aztek will start most the time, but it seems that if I take it for a short trip (1 -2 miles) then turn off the motor, the engine will not start! I can hear the starter working, and the battery is fine, but the engine will not turn over unless one of two things happen:
1. wait for 10 - 30 mins at least.
2. keep attempting to start the engine every minute until the battery nearly dies and barely has enough juice to start the engine. (it sounds strange, but it works)
This issue is hugely intermittent, and the car runs great if it starts. I love my Aztek and wanted to join this forum to see if any fellow Aztek owners can help!
