Intermittent starting problem

If recently picky up @98 sunflower when I turn the key the engine turns does some multilingual then starts .other times it starts rite up then runs beutifully.it feels and sounds like it is fluding . I’m hoping someone coul give me some tips as what to check .

Do you have a check engine light on?
Have you checked the vacuum line running to the fuel pressure regulator for gasoline?

I cant reliy on my cluster it is no working rite .I will check the fuel pressure regulator thanks

Than have the computer scanned for codes at Autozone
