...Grand Prix? The car is in really good shape and it's got 80,000 miles and it's a Mary Kay paint code color
I priced it a Kelly Blue Book and it was 7,000

Well, it is a Pontiac. So... keep in mind that your original cost might be only $5500, but within the year expect to pay another $1000 or so to fix things. Then its ALL downhill with a Pontiac. Think Toyota.

that is a good price thats wat i payed for a 98 grand prix gtp

over priced by $1500

You might want to run the vehicles VIN number through CARFAX.COM before you buy it. Carfax will disclose the repair history, accident history, title history, etc., which will be very helpful in making your decision. Ask the owner outright why they are selling, if it has ever been in an accident, if they are the original owner, has the scheduled maintenance been done, and any other pertinent questions. Go over the car with a magnet to detect any bondo body repairs. Have a mechanic look over the car also, and give you their opinion. For less than $150 you should be able to get the mechanic inspection and the Carfax history done. Good luck.

the best way to really find out is go to kbb.com and check the value of the car.
