...grand am? i dont see anything that says unleaded only, but i always use regualr unleaded gas. if i put the premium or super gas in would it run better or not, could it do any harm?

Premium is for high performance engines. Your Pontiac does not have a high performance engine.

Your car is designed to run on 87 octane fuel. If you use premium, you are wasting money. It won't do you any good. it won't cause any harm either.
