If you have a Pontiac Grand Am or Prix etc...

I've noticed alot of people are getting answers to this question and it's just completely rediculous with some of the answers that i'm seeing. Seriously, I've had two grand ams that have had the same problems as you all are having, It's the CV HALFSHAFT. It connects to the transmission thus turning your tires to make the car go. The part usually runs about 50-60 dollars from advance, autozone, or napa. Quick and easy fix as well.

Fyi Just because this is your fix does not mean it is the carved in stone answer to this problem. Many things can cause the abs/trac. control light to be on, such as faulty abs module, air in the abs module, wheel speed sensor problems and driveline issues.. Even a flat tire can cause this light to come on in some cases.
