the car tow capacity is rated at 1000 pounds. the boat, trailer, and motor weigh about exactly 1000 pounds. How bad is it for my pontiac to tow at full capacity. Also, the destination is 350 miles each way
I would make sure you have fresh oil in the engine and depending upon how many miles on the car possibly a transmission fluid change and engine coolant replacement.
