Is it possible to install a 120V outlet in a grand am?

I want to buy something like this that can simply hook up to the car battery.

But I am worried that this could lead to the car battery dying.

Has anyone done something like this before?

its called an inverter and there are tons of them on Amazon. Depends on the condition of your battery if it will die.

Off road guys wire it to the battery all the time, but I would put a cut off switch to it to switch it off when you are not using it.

Depending on your battery, it will last about 60 or less minutes on the battery alone, unlimited if the car is running.

I have a 800 watt one that I hook up down here in a emergency when storms come but at 800 watts , it can't run too much.

Have to watch your cars water temp if you run your car for long periods of time...
