i have an 82 firebird with the stock 305 and a 350 turbo tranny right not i want to drop in a 73' 350 bored 30 over w/ a cam and a 400 tranny what kind of problem am i looking at and will it fit

Shouldn't have a single problem other than possible drive shaft length.
You shouldn't have to swap suspension because your '82 is also a small block V8.
You might need to fab something up for the torsion bar going to the transmission mount, but I also doubt that as the THM350 and THM400 mount up the same way, as do the 305 and 350 V8s.
If anything you'll need less of the original wiring in your 82 than your '73. All sensors they have in common are going to be in the same places as well. If the '73 doesn't have a sensor that the '82 has a plug for, don't worry about it.

your not looking at too many problems on that one, those came out with v-8,s in them any way ,at least some of them did,but you will need better suspension parts, some from a stock car with a v-8 will work just fine or the v-6 suspension will work on it,the rest is pretty easy, the mounts you can get also from a v-8 car,and the wiring most of it will work, you,ll maybe need a different cross member and a drive shaft we did a v-6 car a while back and it came out ok,i did it for a friend of mine and he really likes it now with the 350 in it,we used a turbo 350 in his though, but it can be done,if you can find the parts, and Chevy camaro parts will all work on it,so you shouldn't have any problems finding parts for it,good luck with it.
