is the grand am reliable, will i have to pay a lot for repairs, and anything else I should know about it before I make my decision on a grand am from 00' to 05'.
the biggest problem with the grand am (v6) is the lower intake manifold is eaten over time by the dexcool coolant. there is a fixer gasket that will prevent this from happening again, but if the gasket has not been put in yet, well the oem gasket is bound to fail. other then that and wheel bearings that GM has never been able to make well, its a reliable car.
