I was driving along fine the other day and then out of the blue everything shut down....The only thing that works is the interior /courtesy lights and driving lights. Everything else has no power at all..No radio, hvac, pdl, inst panel/gauges, no crank no start... nothing....Had it towed home and parked it..
Its a 3.1 L btw with about 100K miles on it. All the fuses in the under dash fuse panel are good, I don't know if their is a main body fuse under the hood like some of the newer vehicles or not....Since I find no blow fuses, I was thinking maybe there is a bad ground somewhere which affected a lot of suff...However when I use a grounded test light and check the fuse panel, I am still getting nothing on all the circuits that are not getting powered up anyway...I figure If I an making the ground with my test light and there is power there then my test light should work...but nothing...
So now I am still looking for a possible main fuse or fusible link somewhere which ties most of this stuff together..
Any help is appreciated
