I can't imagine that car not considered totalled. It is up to the insurance adjuster, but if there are any suspension and/or frame damages I would not fix the car. I would say get the total payout and go car shopping. You may want to buy car at salvage rate back from the insurance company and sell parts off of it. Depends on if you have place to store it and if you have parts worth pulling and selling.
I agree that it probably will be totaled. How old is the car? That will play a factor into if it will be totaled. I would just take the money from it and go get a new car.
I'd say if it still runs and drives, you aren't hurting for money, and live on a lot of land, I'd keep it for a toy. Otherwise, I'd take the money and get another Sunfire.
cars a 2002 and still runs and drives good has a brand new tranny in it too it been like that for a couple of weeks and the insurance stilll hasent done anything
