Key issue

my Pontiac Aztek will go in Park but the key will not release won't turn all the way off

my Fiance car does this every now and then. she just keeps a pen in the car and under the steering wheels on the clamshell there is a couple holes. take the pen and stick it in the hole and it should release the key. hope this helps.
