Get the part number from a dealer. He will need the VIN. The dealer can supply one for about $85 or you can do a search on Amazon or elsewhere for the part number and get a new one for under $30. Prices will vary for different years and models.
There is a source of used fobs, http://www.keylessentryremotefob.com but they are out-of-stock on some fobs, as you might expect for used parts, and I have no idea how reliable they are. Then, given the part number, there is eBay, and of course a general web search.
I tried sources like Rock Auto and GM Parts Direct but did not find fobs listed. At that time I did not have the part number. With the part number, these known reliable sources are worth a try.
Programming it is up to you. Your owner's manual will have instructions if your model has access to BCM programming without a Tech II.
