None of the Fiero engines came with a knock sensor. The 1985 V6 ECM (only year to have it) did have a knock sensor input, but it was never hooked up or activated. Some folks have utilized this to add their own knock sensor and control it with the ECM.
Thanks again Orief.
Saves me from looking around and wondering on the Fiero / Ferrari kit that I'm working on. Came in our shop spewing steam, did the head job, and don't want to get into fixing someone elses electrical mess. Real chop sui job. But didn't want it to leave with a potential problem either (knock sensor).
Aloha, Hoyt
