Hi all
My son has bought some time ago a 3rd. Generation Pontiac Firebird 1989 V8 Model.
As we live in Switzerland it is not a commun thing and the chance getting an expert opinions on our problem is is slim.

He has done all mechanical restoration and had it on the road running fine.
The machine has now not been used for a couple of years

Now we face a problem:
We got the engine turn over again and is finally running OK on idle, the problem is as follows:
-it wont accept any load, it stalls immedeately.

Any suggestions are welcome.

how old is the gasoline?
did you do a fuel pressure test?

Thanks new fuel is in, no pressure test done however, but was running fine prior taking it off the road, it is also running fine in idle but wont accept any load.

Thanks for the checklist, which is usefull not to forget anythin.
However it does not address my problem.

Have no possibility for computer code checks, or better I do not know how this is done.
