I have a 1968 Lemans that I am slowly finding out must have3 been a late production 68. The interior and exterior are the green that Pontiac used in 69 but apparently wasn't available in 68. I also have an off set ( to the passenger side) license plate. Has anyone else found this to be the case for other Lemans? I can't find a front valance to match the license plate bracket on the car. Mine currently has no valance. I also can't find an interior company that has the 68 interior in the green color. Any advice?

can you provide the trim code off of the ID plate mounted on the firewall, drivers side, TR letters followed by a 3 digit number? Under BODY BY FISHER is another code, something like 03D, what does yours have? what part of the interior are you trying to replace? can you provide the serial number/vin leaving off the last 6 numbers?

I will look at that when I get home tonight. I am rep[lacing the entire interior. I want to keep it original so this is making that kind of tough. I will get those numbers tonight. thanks for any help.

the sequence of production and most people prefer not to post complete numbers

Just asked for the last 6 ( not the whole Vin, Mel) to see how close the car is to the end of production of the 1968 cars built.
