If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hey all me again an no my cars running great I cut the cat off the car and it idles better so no issues their but now I'm puzzled . It's a 86 parisienne Canadian model .
No smog pump or anything but I want to drop her down
I can't afford a full out air bag setup yet.
But long run I will be getting one . The problem here now is
It doesn't have a leaf system in the rear it's a 4 link style with coils seperate shocks and upper and lower control arms . Now how do I lower the rear ?with leafs I could use blocks but I've never dropped one of these styles. And I'm trying to advoid cutting the coil . Would I get shorter shocks or would I get a bracket to bring the lower arm farther down from the rear end similar to leaf blocks raising the rear axial housing up ? Or would i have to get shorter springs . With most parts comming as mail order returning items sucks so I'm wanting to get it right the first time I'm thinking a 2"-3" drop I live I Saskatchewan so road condition says I can't go to low I measured hight as is and know within that range I should be good . But will prolly go with two inch drop spindle in the front but do t know how to drop the rear
