I have a 1998 Grand am and it's leaking gasoline excessively I went thru a full tank in a about a day in a half, it's leaking by the driver side back tire could this be a fuel line leaking? This cars new to me just brought it a month ago. Thsnks for your help.

DON'T DRIVE IT! Get under there and look to see if it's a fuel line, or the tank or xxx. Yes it could be a fuel line that got twisted when someone wanted to change the fuel filter or could even be a rusty line. Either way it is dangerous to drive: couple sparks or a cigarette and that's it.

My driver side was corroded and sweating gas like you explain. When I tried to handle the line it was crumbly and leaked worse.

Careful you can start under side of car on fire and have a $750 repair. DAMHITK. :(

Sorry mike; it does happen. Again, you need to get under there and have a look OP. You could splice in new line bent and flair new piping or I think they make braided hoses - don't know about the braided hose though.
