I was wondering if anyone knew which frames were interchangeable through body styles? For example i'm building a 1970 LeMans from the ground up but have a driver 1974 LeMans Sport Coupe. I looked up and the wheelbase is the same for 68-72 and 73-up. I have a frame from a '70 GTO currently pulled and was going to make a template to lay onto my '74 to see if the humps at the rear match.

Pretty much what I was thinking about doing was swapping the frames to both cars since the '70 is pretty rusted out and my '74 is rust free. I can't find any information with people doing this with these exact years so I thought I would put it on the forum. I've measured the wheelbase and they both are at 112" but I haven't gotten around to measuring anything else as of yet. Thanks in advance for any help!

You state you are building a 70 LeMans from the ground up and have have a 70 GTO frame which is the same frame. Why aren't you using the GTO frame?
Even the aftermarket frames are for the 68 to 72 range, if they were compatible with 73 to 74 the aftermarket would list them as being so to increase the application range.

Sir,

The '70 LeMans frame has holes in the rear section to where I could probably fit pool balls through it. I guess I should have stated the reason why I was wanting to use another frame so that is my mistake. The car came from the Florida coast and it looks like it was sitting in 6 inches of salt water for about a decade. It was just simple question so I wouldn't have to source a good frame and save money during my build with something I already have. Thank you for your answer.
