I have taken out my headlights twice, and the first time the Brights stayed on permanently. All four headlights stayed on. I recently replaced the retaining rings and bezel's and now my brights are not on. I have an aftermarket steering wheel and I do not know if the Bright Headlight activator is normally circuited to the blinker handle. Sorry this is such a rookie question but I'm stumped on where and how to activate the brights? I'm pretty sure it's on the steering column?

Thanks

Can you give us a clue as to what year LeMans you are talking about? The old ones 60's and 70's there was a switch on the floor activated by your left foot.

Got it. I should of known this! Thanks

I now have an issue with the hi-beams only activating 3 of the 4 headlights. But the headlight that shuts off during hi-beam activation turns back on when the hi-beams is disabled. Do you recommend anything, or have any advise regarding this funny issue.

Thanks

does the highbeam you are having trouble with have dual filaments and one of them is burnt out? Have you check the ground connections up near the headlights?

The Hi-Beams (2 inner lights) work its the left outer low beam that deactivates when hi-beam switch is activated. I will look for/at the ground to see if it is good to go. I might just try switching the bulb to see if it is the light before buying an new bulb.

does that bulb have 3 prongs? one ground, one highbeam, one lowleam, if so the highbeam filalment is burnt out and the low beam filament is good.
