My name is larry, my first car was a 74 lemans. i had it for a year during which it got hit and run 2x and i rear ended a new lesabre. I sold it for what it cost me and Ive regretted it ever since. A year later ,I saw it at the pool hall and left a note on it offering to buy it back but got no reply.

So now im looking to get another one. I can only afford one out of the junkyard or maybe a little better but im lookin'!

I have no idea what is or is not available on these cars or what other a body stuff interchanges. im hoping you guys can see me thru....

In my opinion you are walking down a path towards a money pit. The type of car you are looking for will need a lot of work. The mechanical components will just cost you money but just about anything body wise you will have a great deal of difficulty trying to find. The 1974 model is not a collectible thus there is little to no aftermarket support for it in that area.

money pit

i believe your opinion to be correct. nobody liked them in the 70z and not much has changed. that being said, I picked up a 73 Grand Am. and now I am searching for doors, fenders, nosepieces, floor& quarter rust repair panels. Its a 4spd, and it runs and drives.hopefully i can find some shdetmetal that wont keep my kids from goiong to collage. Wish me luck....

I wish you lots of luck, just one year older, 1972, and you would have made life much simpler for yourself.
