Losing Power While Driving

car is randomly losing power. Gas petal goes limp and doesn't work. Loses wire connection? Seems like a fairly common issue with this car. I don't think it is a fuel issues. The car loses power like the alternator is going down. Any parts know to fail and cause this issue?

Dealership Says.....

Dealership says it needs a new fuel pump. Has new fuel pump in it. Has to be a connection somewhere that is bad.

did you have the problem starting with the replacement of the pump?

Pump replaced, still has issue

Even after the new pump was put in I have the same issue. Took car back to dealership and they put Dielectric grease on the connect and that actually lasted awhile. Now they want to put a new pump in again.

How long has the pump been in. It should have a 12mo/12,000 mile warranty.
