So I’m putting in a new radio in my 97 sunfire. When unhooking everything I accidentally unhooked the antenna wire. It has a quick connect from the factory which I found odd but I cannot find the wire to hook it back up. It seemed to be coming from the glove box side of the dash if I remember correctly unlike the rest of the wires coming from the driver side. Does anyone know where this wire is? I don’t see it anywhere. I’ll try and attach a picture so you can see what I’m talking about. I was hoping even without it my radio would still play through blue tooth but it won’t. Do the speakers get power via the antenna? I’m kinda lost here. Any help is appreciated. image.jpg

Is the new radio aftermarket?
Puzzled by the antenna being powered?

it is. I’m having to splice it together but this wire wasn’t with all the others but it’s labeled like the rest are so I’m assuming it’s factory. I went to splice the two together and the wire just slid out as I pulled them together so it must have came undone when I took the old head unit out. I’m just having trouble finding the other side of the wire to reconnect it. I’ve looked all through the dash and under the dash and I can’t find it anywhere
