Lost ignition key on 1997 Pontiac Montana transport

I was wondering if the 1997 Pontiac Montana transport had a computer chip in the ignition key because apparently I throwed mine in the dump yesterday and now I'm only down to one key and need to have it replaced so any help would be greatly appreciated. The VIN number is 1GMDX3Exxxxxxxxx. Thanks in advance and if any more information is needed I will provide it...
 
take you key and registration to a automotive lock smith or GM dealer to have another one cut
