HELP! Ok, my 96 grand am just started making this extremely loud noise that gets even louder the more that I accelerate. It just started when I went over speed bump (I went at a normal, slow rate). My exhaust pipe that is under my car is very low. So I think that it hit badly while going over the speed bump. I looked around but didn't see any disconnections or holes, so I think that it might be broken in the engine. Do any of you have an easy fix idea for this problem? or is it a more serious issue?

Well...

Do you have an idea where the noise is coming from? What part of the engine? The exhaust manifold maybe? 'Noise' is such a vague term, what kind of noise? Does it sound like the normal engine sound, just louder? If it's your exhaust or muffler you may be able to patch it with aluminum or stainless steel tape (from auto parts store) or it may just be a matter of sticking a separated pipe back together and tightening a clamp. If it's the engine you may have lost a spark plug. A sudden loud noise usuallly means a new opening somewhere. Look for signs of fluid leaks (puddles under the car?). The problem is your description is so vague it could be anything! You need to be more precise. Start by isolating the source of the sound. LOOK under your car and find it!
