loud tick

ok i have a 95 sunfire 2.2L. when i get up to about 2000 pms theres a very loud tick by the 1st cylinder. I pulled off the valve cover and my rockers, pushrods and valves seem to be fine. Now when i let off the gas my oil pressure light comes on. could it be a lifter? or could it be that i need a new oil pump? i dont know ive tried everything i know

It's most likely in the head.
