Low Oil pressure keeps popping up on my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, I maintain it

well, why is this happening? I recently took a trip up north to Big Sur, I took my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, I maintain my car quite well, so while I was up there the Low oil pressure signal came on the HUD why? what does this mean?

Did you check your engine oil level? Assuming the level is good you either have low oil pressure or a bad sensor. Have someone test the oil pressure.
