I have a 97 Firebird Formula LT1 that will not start in very hot weather when the car has been parked sitting in the sun (not hot engine). When you turn the key, nothing happens, no cranking, no clicking, nothing....but the lights, stereo, windows, everything works fine. When the outside temperature cools down, the car starts up right away. Read somewhere about another brand of car having this same problem, and it had to do with some ignition module(?) or something that was under the dash that was getting to hot in a closed up car.
Has anybody else had this problem or know what it could be?
