Happy New Year everyone. I haven't posted in a while, but I recieved a very friendly email from the staff here ( thank you Sal C.) and here I am. Saved to my faves so I won't forget about the great goings on here.
Over the summer I did a fantastic ignition upgrade, and for anyone with an LT1 motor knows the failure rate on the optispark distributor.
So I did the LTCC conversion, and now my LT1 runs on LS7 coilpacks. It still utilizes the timing wheel in the opti distributor, but no high voltage runs through the opti, so you will need a good working opti to do this conversion. I bought an MSD for mine.
Any questions about the conversion set up, I will be happy to answer.
