Anyone have issues with lukewarm heat coming out of the defrost setting. The vent and floor setting seem much warmer. I've also notice the rear heater doesn't put out much heat either. The fan seems to be working just fine as there is adequate air flow coming out its just not warm enough. Vehicle temp sits at around 1/3 and I'm not sure if this is good or bad as I just got this vehicle.

Yea sounds normal , my Montana throws warm to hot air but my old previous 2000 threw cold air i always thought the thermastat was stuck open but would of cost $$$$$ to change . Some where between 2000 and 2003 they changed the location of the stat to an easier access so if i get cold enough i am going to change it it on my 03 . That s probably what u need to do also.

Replace the thermostat first.
