manual locks of 2001 pontiac sunfire?

i just bought this as my first car (im 16). It comes with manual windows and manual locks..the only problem is that i CANNOT lock the back doors using the key. Is that normal? becuase its a pain in the behind to have to ask the people in the back to lock their doors..

Manual locks are just that, you need to lock and unlock them by hand usually the front doors are the only ones that have outside locks (that work with a key) If you had power locks they would lock with the key from the front outside lock (drivers door)...
