Hey guys I am trying to get my ac working on my 1970 catalina. The ac system is all original except the retrofit kit. I pulled a vacuum and did a leak test and it checked out good. I then proceeded to charge the system with 134A and it would only hold 1# 9 oz. I feel it should hold about 2 and a half #. the ac is blowing cool but not as cold as it should. Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

are you using gauges, if so what reading are you getting? You charged with fan speed on high and system on inside position? It will take less than the R12 amount.

Need your low side pressure readings and the high side pressure readings.
