Hi, my daughters 2003 Sunfire has a set of adjustable struts on it there are two threaded spanner nuts to adjust ride height. The previous owner obviously used a hammer and punch to adjust a very low ride height. I can not move the second adjusting nut at all, I used a tool and took pressure off coil springs and no budge. I found a set of struts complete a 2005 Sunfire for $50.00 for the set of 4. Figure to remove adjustable set and see if can be salvaged but put the 2005 set on so she can still drive it. Problem is they supposedly came from Mexican made Sunfire and daughters is American made. What is difference in shocks from one to the other. A new set says to look for S code Mexican Built.
