What is the default setting for the 2bbl idle mixture screws?
Tune for highest idle RPM, vacuum or smoothest idle?
What is a high quality and reliable electronic ignition upgrade this fits within the std distributor?
If the trim tag build date is April, second week, on a 1966 model year car does that indicate that it would be been assembled in April of 1965?
Thank you!

1) Here is a link to assist with your carb tuning

2) Pertronix is a leading manufacturer of electronic ignition conversion products that allow you to keep the stock distributor. Research the pros and cons. They have a reputation for being unreliable.

3) Since new model years typically started in the fall, your April build date must be 1966.

Others may have better or more complete info.

Engine off lightly seat screws, turn 4 turns out. I always use a tachometer and start turning in 1/8 of a turn each side until I notice a drop in rpm. I then blackout a 1/4 turn. This is done in Drive, parking brake set and something chocking at least 1 tire. If rpm goes up as you are doing this stop and readjust idle speed to desired rpm.
I have used Mallory Unilite for decades and I believe Accel is the current replacement. Pertronix is also another choice.
April of 66 is 1966 not 1965.
