Nice, how long have you had it?

I got this car by pure luck.My step son traded a mid 90's 2wd ranger for it,not long after about a week or so, it started overheating, and not long after that the tranny went out.My step son is more or less lazy and didn't want to try to fix it, he thought i was going to do it for him.I said the only thing i will help you do, is take the tranny out and put it back in, other than that , do some research and fix the rest, not really hard stuff, just some basics. It set for a lil while and never really showed this car any love. His aunt went and bought him a newer car and he said he would take 1500.00 for it, of course i knew this car had some serious potential , so a agreed.

I took tranny out, put a used one back in and fixed what i could afford at the time.

Now shes all cleaned up and running pretty good , just needs some more TLC wich i think it really deserves.
As i told my dad , i basicly rescued this car from ppl who didnt know anything about how to love this kind of car.

As of the time of this post, i have had it on the road 4 days :)
TY for comments. The car thanks you too.

Yep...

Thats it, you cannot own a car like this thats 25 years old and expect it to be flawless, then get yourself in a huff every time something goes wrong and call it "a piece of crap"

TLC, some research, a modest budget, and you can drive a car like this. If your going to just give everything to some mechanic, I hope you got a big wallet and lots of patience.
