check if all your wires and sensors connected and in place

did the starter get hooked up correctly. Did you use the start from your car or from the donor? If from a donor, try going back to what worked before you changed out the transmission. Also, if your "park or N" switch is not hooked up on your transmission this would also cause this type of problem.

Hmm..... , a new tranny and a no-start don't seem like they would be related, unless something was disconnected when taking the old tranny out , and putting the new one back in. Have you driven it since new tranny? Or it's not starting at all afterwards. Btw- how much did the total repair cost? I'm curious because i just got rid of my 94' Grand Am because of a long list of front end problems , transmission being one of them.
