My car won't turn on?

My car won't turn on because the secerty light is flashing. It thinks that its getting stolen or some thing. I have an after market alarm on my 97 trans. What should i do?
 
Shitty deal, I work at a chev dealership and I see this all the time, Yu have to bring it to a GM store and get them to reprogram the computor and reset it to what you have in your car now.
 
so they have to programe it?

so what do you mean that there going to have to programe what? What do they use also?
 
They have the code reader, they will have to read the specifec engine code and security code. They will be able to reprogram it, I dont know exactly how they do it, but I see it done all the time at my dealership. Probably gunna cost about 100-150 bucks though
