My CD-Rom Isnt playing any of the songs i had burnt for my Pontiac Montana 2003?

I have a Pontiac Montana manufacutured from GM and its model is 2003 the first generation it has a radio/cd player in it which was installed in toegether already when i bought it, the problem is that when try playing the music it shows up as its playing already but with no sound because when i forward it it shows on the screen that its still playing but their is just no volume so when i adjust the volume it still doesnt show up i keep adjusting i keep doing everything how do i fix this problem?

if it plays store purchased CD's there is nothing wrong with it. You are using an incompatilbe software to burn your CD's
