My daughter took her 2002 Sunfire Pontiac to the dealership in Greensboro, NC

and was told the engine is gone? It will cost her $5400 to replace the engine because the car is computerized. Is there anything that she can do with the parts in the car as far as selling them to the dealership? Have a company that collect cars that are g from the dealership and pay her a small stipend?

She just does not want to leave it at the dealership for disposal when she can get a little bit of money out of the car.

Please advise asap. Thank you for your help.
 
tell her to call a junk yard to come get it they will give her cash for the scrap metal
 
First get a more detailed description of what is wrong. Saying the engine is "gone" means nothing. Then get an estimate from a private shop not a dealer.
 
"because the car is computerized" sounds like "we're trying to rip you off" to me.
