hi guys im new here now i just got my 1st car for 700 dollars(86 fiero GT)
and im wondering if yall have any tips cause ill be 16 soon and I just wanna introduce myself and get to know you all

well 1st of all thank you for a reply im here to ask what i beleive to be a paint repated question.well basically its like this.the guy i bought it from was a....... lets just say he didnt take very good care of his car.well he scratched the side with his truck and broke out the driver side quarter window now the scratch wasnt deep enough for the red paint to be gone just some clearcoat and also tiny cracks(but they are hidden so i can ignore them) well i decided to smooth the scratches with sandpaper also to get his crappy trucks paint off my car anyway is worked very smooth now you can tell there was scratches still because theres no clearcoat were i sanded im wondering if i could buy some and just apply it to that area and if so can somebody explain this to me

if you do end up just spraying clear coat, use a good brand like ppg, or have it sprayed by a professional.

Id recomend ppg for a diy. Do a couple light coats. And while your at it do the other side so they match.
