In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hey all,

Just picked up my first Pontiac, 2000 Grand Prix GT with 142,000 miles. Haven't driven it much yet, chasing a misfire issue. Started with cyl 5, then after replacing plugs and wires went to cyl 4. Decided to replace all the coil packs since I didn't know how old they were, cleared out all codes and went for a drive. All is good...NOPE. Now it has a code for random multiple cylinder misfire. I have a new MAF but haven't put it in yet because I don't have the security T20 bit. Other then MAF could I possibly have a clogged CAT?

Any who, If anyone could point me towards a write-up about this or if anyone has any pointers I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

New Pontiac Owner (LOL :p)

did you install the correct plugs and checked the gap?
did you check the new wires with an ohm meter? 1k/foot maximum
did you damage a vacuum line while working on the car?
unfortunately P0300 has a long list of causes
