My name is Patrick, and this is my thread on the progress of my '86 Fiero from start to finish.
last month I bought this car as a project car,
first thing I wanted was an engine swap, so I found a guy that had a Fiero gt laying in his back yard, he says he wants to restore it but its been there for 5 years, at first he didn't want to sell, but after while I convinced him to sell me the engine, sub frame and transmission for 1800$ I'll save up now and buy it as soon as possible , it needs a overhaul ,so I looked up online for a rebuild kit for 500$.
after the swap, I'll work on changing the cooling system,suspensions,brakes and pretty much everything else,also I'm still deciding which I would like to go for..turbo or supercharged...and last thing on the list will be body kit and paint job.
I got a long way to go, but hopefully I'll be done withing 6 months.
I'll keep updating regularly, and posting thread if I get stuck with a problem.
