Since I bought my used Montana 2003, I was surprised to have found an unconnected alone connector located near the positive of the battery.

Is normal that it being unconnected, or it have to be connect to something?

Thanks

your pictures dont show how it is connected to the battery positive terminal which would help to see if it is factory or someone added it

It's not connected to the battery

It starting from the union of the two harnesses shows in the second picture (under both). Not like something added from someone, more like a factory feature

It could be normal.
You dont see any other connector that should mate to it?
Is there anything on you vehicle that doesnt work?

It seems that there is nothing apparent near, unless it previous owner has removed.

Around 60 or 90 minutes later starting at mornings, idle at least 900 rpm without pressing the accelerator pedal. But I don't know if it is related with this alone connector

the idle is 900 in gear or in park?

900 at park or while at stop in traffic, then lost some power

and yes, when the outside temperature is high soon appear the problem, but if it is 70 F or menus, working good twice hours or more

This is a test terminal for the battery or electrical system. Its there for you to hook something up and get a battery voltage without exposing the large positive terminal or getting into where the belts are spinning.
