I couldn't tell whether the squeal was coming from the belt or the altenator so i had the belt replaced.... That stopped the constant squeal and the squeal that existed when turning tight corners, but there is still a startup squeal.. Any suggestions??????

CHeck your water pump. A lot of times just before a water pump goes it will squeal and stop and then it will stop working. Kepp a eye on your water level. and also you can check to see if you have a good cycle if you take off your raditor cap. : ) if the flow is slow that means that your water pump is going bad

Belt dressing first, you can spray a lubricant on the pulleys and belts such as WD40 or CRC 556 and that will likely do the trick... however you may have a worn tensioner, which needs to be replaced to put the proper tension on your belt..
A common problem and relatively inexpensive fix...

Check your to see if your belt tensioner is worn - take the belt off and check how easily it spins, and side to side motion on the pulley
