Hi
I am in love with the newer body style Firebirds. I owned a 2000 for 2 weeks. It was a lemon and now I'm once bitten twice shy about getting another. I've heard a couple people say that the engines and trany's are crap in these cars... especially with higher milage... well the one I bought had around 65k miles on it and that seemed low to me. Any way, I was looking for some advice, insight n' such about the cars. I just found a 1998 Black 6 cylinder RWD stick shift for $5500, but it has 108,450 miles... so I'm scared. Can anyone ease my worries? How do these cars important parts hold up over time? Are they worth it, or do I have to forget about that deep craving inside for the feeling of the car I had for 2 weeks...
Sadly,
