Good morning guys! So I picked up this 05 Sunfire and need some opinions. It's automatic with the 2.2 engine, a/c works, has about 150,000 miles, aftermarket bluetooth radio. Had a random misfire code so I replaced plugs, coil and ignition control module now it runs fine. The thing on the airbox that the rubber hose on valve cover connects to was broke, so I sealed it up and just put a little filter on the valve cover nipple. Removed heater door actuator that kept clicking, new one on the way. Also need to replace passenger side manual window regulator(already have), I found broken glass under the seat so I think the idiots broke the regulator in the process of replacing window. Also need to weld an exhaust mount... love my Titanium 125 welder from Harbor Freight lol.
What do you guys think the car is worth, and would you keep it? Are these cars reliable? Any known issues other than the stuff I've already delt with?
The body is pretty clean, minor dings/scratches and the rear spoiler is a little faded. The interior is also clean, except a couple things. The top of the rear seat is sun faded, the dash is cracked/torn around the center air vent, the driver seat is squished like an 800lb guy sat in it, and the passenger headrest plastic thing that the seat belt went through is broke off.
Might try to repair the dash with a heat gun, maybe find some random nice seats from the junkyard.
***Picture is not mine, just a random picture from Google. Mine is blue and looks pretty much the same as this.
