Need to take bad fuel out of my 85 fiero gt

My 1985 fiero gt has been sitting for sometime now and I need to empty the fuel tank I've tried to take the fuel filter off and put an external pump on the fuel line and the gas wouldn't come out then I tried to turn the power on to the car to get the fuel pump to spit the bad gas out but niether worked. I'm thinking it could be the wiring or the fuel pump but idk and thoughts???

Remove the fuel pump relay, and jumper the high side contacts. That should run the pump. Or you should be able to apply +12 volts to the plug marked G in the aldl plug.
