new fiero 1985 v6

i just baught a 1985 v6 fiero for $600 the body is in awesome shape noo rust no chips but the engine is in a bad way. i will list it off :
1. dead battery
2. i have to feather the gas to keep her goin shell die if i dont
3. she takes a minute to get up and go
4. when i got there the air filter was off and open to the elements i dont know for how long
5. i love it but it runs horrible
any help would be appreciated and if you live in south ga and want to help i will welcome you with open arms

If it was sitting for a while the throttlebody is probably dirty, The injectors are probably dirty, The fuel filter is probably gunked up, The gas in it could be bad, the spark plugs could be worn, the fuel pump could be weak, the spark plug wires could be bad, etc.

In other words there could be many things causing the problems. My advice would be to clean out the throttlebody, change the fuel filter and put some fresh gas in with some injector cleaner, then perform a tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, etc.)

Then see how it runs.
